Google Street View Car Spotted in Montreal, Quebec, Canada!
by waseem on Jun.02, 2009, under Uncategorized
Google’s Street View car has arrived in Montreal! While biking down Avenue De l’Hotel-de-Ville in the Plateau-Mont Royal area I spotted an Ontario license plate car that had the now infamous 360° Google camera mounted on top of it. The car also had a Dell PC monitor in the front passenger seat. I took a photo of the car, which I’m including in this post.

The sample page that was released by Google to demonstrate Knol is far too advanced for most Internet readers. Knol should not target the knowledge market niche advanced segment. Instead Knol should position itself to target the intermediate segment of the market. We would like Knol to contain articles that are as readable as Times Magazine. Furthermore, Knol should include tools to enable programmers to access Knol’s knowledge directly. These tools will not only create a buzz with bloggers and techno geeks to viral market Knol, but will also position Knol at the center of knowledge on the Internet.
Taking All of Google and Plotting it in One Image
by waseem on Jan.05, 2008, under General
Google is a behemoth. I took on the task of creating a diagram that represents Google and all of its Web sites, services and software. I ended up with a Google that consists of 43 components meshing and crossing nine different categories: search, productivity, advertising, publishing, Internet tools, software bundle, portal and social network. No work is perfect and Google is surely not going to freeze this image anytime soon, so I have included the diagram’s original source in png format for anyone to modify/edit. Feel free to email me back any modifications on waseem$$$sayegh.com (replace $$$ with @)
